Job Summary: The Accounting Associate – is responsible for managing the company's payables and receivables, including billing, collections, payment processing, invoice verification, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role performs account reconciliations, monitors cash flow, prepares financial reports, and ensures timely and accurate recording of financial transactions. The position collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment and billing concerns, ensures compliance with company policies and accounting standards, and performs other accounting duties as assigned.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) by recording customer billings and collections, monitoring outstanding balances, preparing aging reports, and following up on overdue accounts.
  • Assist in Accounts Payable (AP) by verifying supplier invoices, processing payments, monitoring due dates, and maintaining accurate vendor records.
  • Record and maintain accounting transactions, including sales invoices, official receipts, supplier invoices, and payments in the accounting system.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and verify daily collections by reconciling bank deposits with sales from company branches, online ordering platforms, and other sales channels.
  • Monitor and update cash flow reports for both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
  • Prepare and process BIR Forms 2307 and other tax-related documents, and assist in organizing accounting records for audit and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare month-end reports, including the consolidation of weekly financial reports.
  • Monitor sales and collection reports and ensure timely recording and application of customer collections
  • Handle bank-related transactions and maintain the confidentiality of financial records and information.
  • Perform other accounting, finance, and administrative duties that may be assigned by the Finance Manager or Management from time to time.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), billing, collections, or general accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, payment processing, payment application, account reconciliation, collections, and vendor/customer account management.
  • Experience with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or similar platforms) is required
  • Familiarity with BIR regulations, tax documentation (e.g., BIR Form 2307), and basic bookkeeping principles is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential financial information
  • Experience in the food service, commissary, manufacturing, retail, or FMCG industry is an advantage.
  • Willing to work onsite in Cainta, Rizal
