Finance and Accounting Associate

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Associate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and supporting financial reporting and compliance processes. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, general ledgers, and account reconciliations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all discrepancies are properly investigated and resolved.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in tax preparation, audit requirements, and coordination with external auditors.
• Support budget preparation, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial documentation and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 6 months to 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong experience in bank reconciliation, preparation of financial statements, and handling tax and audit-related tasks.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
