Job Responsibilities:

• Safely move eggs from delivery trucks or farm carts to the receiving and designated holding areas, ensuring careful handling at all times.
• Assist in unloading egg crates, trays, or pallets from delivery vehicles while preventing damage, breakage, or contamination.
• Coordinate with receiving and quality control staff to inspect eggs for cracks, cleanliness, and compliance with established quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the receiving area; strictly follow biosecurity, food safety, and sanitation protocols.
• Ensure eggs are stored under proper conditions, including appropriate temperature and humidity.
• Communicate effectively with farm drivers, warehouse personnel, and quality control teams to ensure smooth and timely movement of egg deliveries.
• Operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts safely and efficiently to transport egg containers.
• Assist in recording delivery quantities, damaged items, and receiving details as required by the operation.

Job Qualifications:

• High school graduate or vocational training preferred.
• Experience in farm operations, warehouse handling, or food production is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and move crates or trays of eggs.
• Careful, detail-oriented, and able to follow handling and quality procedures.
• Willing to comply with strict biosecurity and sanitation protocols.
• Ability to operate forklifts or pallet jacks is an advantage (training may be provided).
• Can work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends, as required.
