A Production Worker is responsible for physically assembling or producing goods in a manufacturing environment.

Roles and Responsibilities of a Production Worker:

• Reviews the customer order details using work orders to determine the characteristics of the finished item, materials to be used, and machine setup requirements.
• Produces work pieces as specified by the work order details. Retrieves the correct materials and performs various production tasks.
• Inspects the work piece visually, or by touch, to ensure that the product meets desired standards.
• Operates machinery - must maintain the machinery to standards, set points, program, adjust for different types of products, and perform necessary preventative maintenance.
• Maintains the condition of the workplace (i.e., free of debris, products in the correct location, etc.).
• Follows company safety policies and procedures.
• Performs other assigned duties as needed.
• Selects the appropriate processes from clearly prescribed rules, previous practices, or instructions. Seeks advice and guidance in areas that are unusual or problematic from the supervisor. Deviations from the standard are clarified by the supervisor.
• Typically involves detailed quality inspection and procedures with a senior colleague and/or supervisor.
• Facilitates the operations and missions of the company by completing related outcomes as necessary.
• Contributes to achieving the organization's goals.
• Develops and implements a timeline to achieve targets.
• Contributes to the company's growth through effective teamwork within your Team.
