We are seeking a reliable and experienced Facility Engineer to oversee the overall maintenance, operations, and compliance of the property. The role is responsible for building preventive maintenance, project implementation, repair monitoring, government compliance, and supervision of maintenance personnel to ensure the property remains safe, functional, and operational at all times.

The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge in building systems, preventive maintenance, crisis management, and contractor coordination within hotel, condominium, or commercial property operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance

• Create and implement preventive maintenance programs for the property
• Monitor routine maintenance, service requests, and repair activities
• Inspect units and common areas for repair and maintenance requirements
• Supervise daily activities of Maintenance Technicians
• Monitor accomplishment reports and update engineering monitoring records

Project Implementation

• Facilitate project turnover and punch listing activities
• Implement approved CAPEX and property improvement projects
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers
• Conduct technical evaluation of quotations, bid proposals, and repair works
• Monitor contractor performance and project progress billing

Government Compliance

• Ensure compliance with government regulations and permits
• Prepare and maintain engineering documents and compliance records
• Coordinate property readiness for inspections and audits

Crisis & Emergency Response

• Respond to emergency maintenance concerns and crisis situations
• Provide technical support and direction during emergencies
• Perform repair functions when necessary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Licensed Engineer is an advantage
• At least 3–5 years related experience in facilities, hotel, condominium, or property management
• Strong knowledge in building electrical, mechanical, and preventive maintenance systems
• Experience in contractor management and project implementation
• Knowledgeable in government compliance and safety standards
• Proficient in MS Office and report documentation
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
