Job Summary

The Facilities Management Engineer is responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of company facilities, building systems, and equipment. The role ensures compliance with government regulations, including occupational safety and health standards, while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facilities operations, including building maintenance, utilities, and equipment.
• Monitor and maintain mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and government regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, service providers, and suppliers for facility repairs, maintenance, and improvements.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and preventive maintenance programs
• Implement and monitor workplace safety programs and emergency preparedness procedures.
• Maintain documentation for safety compliance, permits, maintenance logs, and service records.
• Assist in facility planning, renovation, and infrastructure improvements.
• Monitor facility-related budgets and operational costs.
• Address facility concerns and emergency issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; PRC Licensed Engineer 
• BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) certified; OSH practitioner certification; Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Certification; is an advantage.
• At least 2-3 years' experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or property management.
• Strong problem-solving, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and leadership abilities.
• Good knowledge of electrical, mechanical, heating and air conditioning systems. 
• Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations 
• Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management 
• Knowledge of Design Applications e.g AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, etc.
