Safety Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local and international standards.
• Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Lead incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Supervise pollution control measures and ensure proper waste management practices are in place.
• Provide training and awareness programs on occupational health and safety to employees and contractors.
• Maintain and update HSE documentation, including permits, reports, and certifications.
• Support the implementation of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) standards.

Qualifications:

• Registered Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in environmental, health, and safety compliance.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, occupational health and safety standards, and quality control systems.
• Professional Certifications are highly desirable:
• Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Accreditation
• DOLE-accredited Safety Practitioner (SO3 or higher)
