Key Responsibilities:

Child Assessment & Observation

Conduct developmental and behavioral assessments to identify learning, social, or emotional challenges.

Observe children in classroom settings to monitor progress and identify areas of concern.

Intervention & Support

Design and implement individualized support plans for children with developmental delays or behavioral challenges.

Provide counseling or therapeutic support for children experiencing social, emotional, or adjustment issues.

Collaboration & Consultation

Work closely with preschool teachers to provide strategies for classroom management and child development.

Advise parents on developmental milestones, learning strategies, and behavioral guidance.

Program Development

Assist in designing age-appropriate programs and activities that support cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Evaluate the effectiveness of preschool programs and recommend improvements.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain detailed records of assessments, observations, and interventions.

Prepare reports for parents, teachers, and school management as needed.

Professional Development & Compliance

Stay updated on best practices in early childhood psychology.

Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in psychological practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Degree in Psychology (Master’s preferred, with specialization in Child or Educational Psychology).

Experience working with preschool-aged children in educational or clinical settings.

Strong observational and assessment skills.

Knowledge of early childhood development theories and practices.

Excellent communication skills for working with children, parents, and staff.

Patience, empathy, and understanding of child behavior.
