WE’RE HIRING: LICENSED TEACHER

Mixed-Level Supplementary Education Program | Makati City

Tiny Blessings Foundation is looking for a compassionate, adaptable, and technology-oriented teacher for our Big Kids Class, serving vulnerable children at approximately Grade 3 to Grade 9 learning levels.

This is not a traditional classroom. Our students come from highly vulnerable socioeconomic backgrounds, and many experience significant learning gaps or global developmental delays caused by prolonged educational and environmental disadvantage. The teacher must be able to differentiate instruction, meet learners at their individual levels, and carefully monitor each child’s progress.

Program Structure

* Four two-hour learning groups per day

* Approximately 7–12 students per group

* Mixed-level instruction focused primarily on Math, English, and Science

* Small-group teaching with individualized learning goals

* Heavy use of Khan Academy as a foundational learning tool

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and facilitate differentiated lessons for mixed-level learners

* Use Khan Academy and other digital learning platforms effectively

* Integrate AI-assisted tools appropriately into lesson planning, instruction, and assessment

* Track and interpret analytical learning data to identify gaps and measure progress

* Provide patient, trauma-aware, and responsive support

* Maintain organized learner records and progress reports

* Collaborate with the Foundation’s teachers, social workers, and program team

Qualifications

* Licensed Professional Teacher preferred

* At minimum, a degree in Education or a closely related field

* Master’s degree in Education is an advantage

* Special Education background or training is highly preferred

* Strong competency in Math, English, and Science

* Confident using technology, AI tools, online learning platforms, and data-based progress monitoring

* Patient, compassionate, resourceful, and comfortable teaching students at widely different learning levels

While the class does not specifically serve children with diagnosed special needs, a Special Education background is highly valuable because our students require individualized strategies, careful differentiation, and a deep understanding of developmental and learning delays.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Standard schedule: 8:30 AM–5:30 PM

Some flexibility may be arranged, such as 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Salary: ₱25,000–₱30,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience

Live-in accommodation is available if needed.
