Role Description The Head of Mechanical Engineering (LPG Plant Refilling, Metered and LPG Installation) is a full-time, on-site role based in Pasay. This role oversees mechanical engineering design, maintenance, and operations for LPG plant refilling facilities, metered systems, and installation projects, ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading engineering teams, assigning tasks, reviewing designs and technical documents, and providing guidance on LPG systems, equipment specifications, and installation standards. The role manages project planning and execution, coordinates with operations, safety, and procurement teams, and monitors project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. The Head of Mechanical Engineering also conducts site inspections, resolves technical issues, implements preventive maintenance plans, and drives continuous improvement in engineering practices and plant performance.

Qualifications

  • Strong Mechanical Engineering background, with experience in LPG systems, plant refilling operations, and installation projects.
  • Proficiency in Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) coordination for industrial and commercial gas-related facilities.
  • Ability to use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for layout, equipment detailing, and mechanical system design.
  • Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Proven Team Management experience, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop engineering and technical staff.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety standards, codes, and regulatory requirements for LPG and industrial gas operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline; professional license is required.
  • Experience in on-site plant operations, field installation work, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Pasay and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external partners.
