Duties and Responsibilities

The Engineering Supervisor oversees the overall operations of the engineering department to ensure the efficiency of the resort’s daily operations.


ENGINEERING WORKS

  • Reports are submitted weekly and monthly via email to the General Manager and Resort Operations Manager, providing updates on the status of all engineering works.
  • In charge of the day-to-day preventive and corrective maintenance needed in the resort, coordinating properly with the Resort Operations Manager.
  • Creates punch lists, plans, and schedules work as per the requirements of each department.
  • Assists in the efficient operation and general maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment to ensure its efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensures that the property and its facilities, including but not limited to generators, electrical systems, plumbing, room and unit appliances, and kitchen equipment, are well-maintained.
  • Submits the online restoration request to Meralco during a single phase.
  • Maintains records of the maintenance status of the pump house, generators, and other facilities and equipment at the resort.


POLLUTION CONTROL OFFICER

  • Ensures that the company complies with all mandatory requirements of EMB. In addition to the submission of the following reports:   
  1. Quarterly Self-Monitoring Report (SMR)
  2. Compliance Monitoring Report (CMR) is submitted twice a year.
  • Handles the environmental concerns as required by the government.
  • Safety responsibilities in performing the job
  • Attends meetings, trainings, and refresher courses as needed for PCO


SAFETY CONTROL OFFICER

  • Formulate and upgrade the processes and guidelines of the company and its affiliates’ OSH programs.
  • Conduct training for the CBRM staff
  • Submit the following reports online:
  1. The Work Accidents/Illness Report (WAIR) is submitted monthly and yearly.
  2. The Annual Medical Report;
  • Investigate accidents, write incident reports, and make recommendations.
  • Attend meetings, training, and refresher courses as needed for SO2.


KEY QUALITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Must be proven as an Engineering Supervisor, Facilities Engineer, or Maintenance Supervisor.
  2. Educational attainment in Electrical Engineering is required.
  3. PRC passer is a plus.
  4. A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering is required.
  5. Be able to effectively communicate both with the teams and higher management.
  6. Responsible for coordinating with the team and other departments involved to set priorities for projects and ensure that they are met.
  7. Should be able to identify problems and come up with effective solutions.
  8. Can work with minimal or without supervision


Requirement should have at least a supervisory or managerial experience. Willing to relocate. Accommodation and duty meals are free for the stay-in staff.
