Job Description

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Electro-Mechanical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • Relevant training or experience in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, instrumentation, automation, and control systems.
  • Willing to work or relocate in any parts of Central and North Luzon.
  • 7–10 years of experience in maintenance of heavy equipment, special-purpose vehicles, truck-mounted vehicles, mobile command vehicles, radar vehicles, or ground support equipment.
  • Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, cooling, power generation, communication, and control systems.
  • Experience with cranes, diesel generators, air-conditioning systems, VSAT equipment, radar systems, lifting structures, and launcher support equipment.
  • Experience in structural inspection, alignment verification, hydraulic testing, diagnostics, and load testing.
  • Strong knowledge of integrated mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Knowledge of diesel engines, generator sets, alternators, batteries, power distribution, and control systems.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems, actuators, pressure testing, leakage inspection, and contamination control.
  • Knowledge of electrical testing, grounding, insulation, continuity, voltage, current, and load testing.
  • Ability to use multimeters, insulation testers, oscilloscopes, gauges, alignment tools, and hydraulic testing equipment.
  • Working knowledge of Dye Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle Inspection, and Ultrasonic Testing.
  • Knowledge of air-conditioning, VSAT, radar support, lifting equipment, and special-purpose vehicle systems.
  • Ability to prepare maintenance records, inspection reports, test results, readiness reports, and equipment histories.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, lifting, structural, and industrial safety requirements.
  • Familiarity with DOLE requirements, applicable ASME standards, and local load certification requirements.
  • Knowledge of lockout/tagout, electrical isolation, hydraulic pressure release, working-at-height, rigging, lifting, and equipment safety procedures.
  • Ability to follow technical manuals, approved maintenance procedures, inspection standards, and security protocols.
  • PRC license in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
  • Certification/training in Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Instrumentation, or Control Systems.
  • Certification in NDT, crane/lifting equipment inspection, rigging, or load testing.
  • Training in hydraulic systems, diesel generators, heavy equipment, or special-purpose vehicle maintenance.
  • Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning servicing certification.
  • Training in electrical systems, power generation, VSAT, RF, radar support, grounding, or cooling systems.
  • OSH, lockout/tagout, working-at-height, first aid, and fire safety training.


Job Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of heavy equipment, special-purpose vehicles, and ground support systems.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Maintain truck-mounted cranes, outriggers, jacks, lifting mechanisms, gantry cranes, and other lifting equipment.
  • Maintain diesel generators, alternators, batteries, starters, voltage regulators, control panels, and power distribution systems.
  • Perform maintenance of vehicle-mounted and ceiling-concealed air-conditioning systems.
  • Provide technical support for VSAT, radar support, communications, and related equipment.
  • Maintain launcher stands, skids, handling dollies, trolleys, support racks, and related equipment.
  • Conduct hydraulic pressure testing, actuator inspection, leakage checks, and contamination control.
  • Perform electrical testing, grounding, insulation, continuity, and load testing.
  • Conduct structural inspections, alignment verification, and load testing.
  • Support the preparation, deployment, recovery, inspection, and maintenance of launcher platforms, command vehicles, radar vehicles, and ground support systems.
  • Maintain equipment readiness and operational availability.
  • Diagnose equipment faults and recommend appropriate repair, recovery, restriction, or replacement actions.
  • Coordinate with engineers, technicians, operators, facility personnel, communications specialists, radar specialists, and equipment manufacturers.
  • Provide technical guidance on equipment operation, inspection, preventive maintenance, and fault reporting.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance, inspection, testing, certification, and readiness records.
  • Maintain equipment histories, calibration records, load-test certificates, and NDT reports.
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with approved procedures, technical manuals, safety standards, and configuration controls.
  • Maintain readiness and compliance documentation for audits and inspections.
  • Follow site security, equipment access, and controlled maintenance area requirements.
  • Apply proper safety procedures when working with heavy equipment, electrical systems, hydraulics, cranes, lifting equipment, and elevated structures.
  • Implement lockout/tagout, electrical isolation, hydraulic pressure release, rigging, lifting, and working-at-height procedures.
  • Ability to work in workshops, industrial facilities, vehicle maintenance areas, and field environments.
  • Ability to work around heavy machinery, cranes, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and rotating equipment.
  • Ability to climb vehicle platforms, cranes, gantries, and equipment structures.
  • Ability to access confined equipment compartments and areas beneath vehicles.
  • Ability to handle tools, test equipment, cables, and mechanical components within approved safety limits.
  • Willingness to work outdoors and in operational environments.
  • Strong safety awareness and technical judgment.
  • Analytical and systematic approach to troubleshooting.
  • Strong attention to detail in inspection, testing, and documentation.
  • Clear communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • Ability to work under operational pressure and meet equipment-readiness requirements.
  • Strong discipline in following technical, safety, security, and maintenance procedures.
