Plan, design, implement, and manage the organization's network infrastructure.
Administer servers, including operating systems, applications, and security settings.
Monitor network performance and security, implementing necessary updates and improvements.
Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues.
Ensure data backup and disaster recovery solutions are in place and functional.
Collaborate with the IT Support Technician for user support on complex technology-related issues.
Implement and enforce security policies and best practices.
Stay current with industry trends and technologies.
Document network and system configurations and procedures.
Manage and maintain the company's POS system.
Oversee and maintain the CCTV system.
Ensure the functionality of the biometric attendance system.
Manage and maintain internet connectivity in all offices and stores.
Functions in accordance with established standards, policies, procedures and applicable laws.
Perform other functions and duties as may be directed by the immediate Head and Management.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent experience
3-5 years of experience in network and system administration;
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ and MCSA/MCSE are preferred;
Strong IT and Networking Proficiency: Proficient in computer networking, operating systems, and network protocols. Knowledge of Windows Server, and network management tools.
Security Expertise: Understanding of cybersecurity principles and the ability to implement and maintain security measures to protect the network and systems.
System Administration Skills: Proficiency in server and systems administration, including configuring and maintaining servers, virtualization, and backup solutions.
Network Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve network and system issues efficiently.
Documentation and Record-Keeping: Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining network and system documentation, including configurations and procedures.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
Collaborative Team Player: The capacity to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with other IT staff and departments.
Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to IT and network management, including data privacy and security standards.
Vendor Management: Skills in managing relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure the smooth operation of network and system-related services.
