Responsible for driving the ambulance safely and efficiently while transporting patients to and from hospitals or medical facilities. Ensures the ambulance is clean, properly maintained, and ready for emergency use, while following traffic rules and responding promptly to emergency calls. Assists medical personnel and patients during transport when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive the ambulance safely during emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Transport patients, medical staff, and medical equipment.
• Follow traffic laws and emergency driving procedures.
• Check and maintain the ambulance’s basic condition and cleanliness.
• Assist patients with entering and exiting the ambulance.
• Coordinate with medical staff and emergency responders.
• Keep records of trips, vehicle condition, and maintenance.
• Respond quickly and calmly during emergency situations.
