About the role

SYC Philippine Corporation is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within our facilities. This is a full-time, on-site role that is essential to ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our operations.

What you'll be doing

·        Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems under the supervision of Chief Electrician.

·        Troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical systems, motors, generators, and other mining equipment

·        Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment

·        Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical safety standards and regulations

·        Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the maintenance team

·        Document all work completed and maintain detailed records of electrical systems

QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field

·        Minimum 5 years' experience as an Electrician, preferably in the mining industry

·        Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety protocols

·        Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·        Good communication and documentation skills

·        Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
