The Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) is responsible for supervising, inspecting, and providing technical support for electrical works involving Solar Photovoltaic (PV), Hybrid Inverter, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
The position ensures that electrical installations are performed safely, properly, and in accordance with approved designs, applicable electrical codes and standards, project specifications, and company requirements. The REE will also coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and installation teams throughout project implementation, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
Qualifications
• Must be a Licensed / Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) with a valid PRC license.
• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
• Experience in Solar PV, Hybrid Inverter Systems, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), or renewable energy projects is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in AC and DC electrical systems, electrical protection, grounding, and power distribution.
• Able to read and interpret electrical plans, technical drawings, and Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs).
• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and engineering practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Safety-conscious, responsible, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Willing to conduct site inspections, client visits, and project deployments as required.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise electrical installation works for Solar PV, Hybrid Inverter, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
• Review electrical designs, Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs), load schedules, equipment specifications, and system configurations.
• Ensure electrical works comply with approved plans, applicable electrical codes and standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
• Supervise the installation and connection of solar panels, inverters, batteries, AC/DC protection devices, disconnects, electrical panels, cables, grounding systems, and related equipment.
• Conduct electrical inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and system verification.
• Perform and/or supervise testing and commissioning of solar energy systems before project turnover.
• Verify proper cable sizing, grounding, termination, electrical protection, polarity, labeling, and equipment connections.
• Identify electrical or system-related problems and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor the workmanship, safety, quality, and progress of electrical installation activities.
• Coordinate technical requirements with clients, contractors, suppliers, project teams, and installation personnel.
• Assist in resolving technical concerns encountered during installation and commissioning.
• Prepare and maintain technical reports, inspection records, testing results, commissioning reports, and other project documentation.
• Provide technical assistance during project completion, turnover, and client orientation.
• Support the company in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of installed solar energy systems.
• Perform other engineering-related duties that may be assigned by management.

Perks and Benefits
• Salary: ₱30,000 – ₱45,000 per month
• Work Schedule: Flexible, generally within Monday to Friday. Actual reporting days and working hours shall be determined based on the Company's operational requirements, including electrical engineering needs, inspections, maintenance activities, projects, and other assignments requiring the services of a Registered Electrical Engineer.
