Key Responsibilities

• Installation: Installing electrical components, wiring, lighting, and control systems.
• Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshooting malfunctions, testing circuits, and repairing motors, generators, and circuit breakers.
• System Upgrades: Replacing old or defective wiring and components.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring all installations meet national electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Planning: Interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams to plan system layouts

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a technical college program or apprenticeship.
• Certification: Valid, licensed electrician (e.g., journeyman or master license).
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety procedures.
• Physical Ability: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in tight spaces.
• Tools Proficiency: Skilled in using hand and power tools (e.g., conduit benders, screwdrivers, drills)
