- Must know how to repair when there is trouble shooting to identify risks or malformations of the wirings in the machine.
- Must capable and know how to repair damaged cables and insulated cables and must also clean circuits, etc.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment.
- Work as a team member or alone to complete work assigned.
- Observe safety procedures and meet electrical codes
- Make decisions based on technical documents, perform quality testing and inspections.
- Physically demanding job as some lifting is required.
- Be aware of Health and Safety standards; along with a high understanding of Dignity and Diversity in the workplace.
- Good personal hygiene and a tidy and appropriate dress sense uniform if you will be required to wear it.
- Install new electrical systems – run tests to ensure that new machinery is ready to be implemented and work out any issues before the equipment is used daily.
- Industrial Electricians also conduct regularly-scheduled maintenance on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis to keep machines running as they are intended and to avoid any down-time due to break-downs or improper operations
