- Diagnostics: Identifying malfunctions in truck electrical systems, including CAN bus systems, sensors, and electronic control modules (ECMs).
- Repair & Installation: Repairing or replacing alternators, starters, ignition systems, lighting, and wiring harnesses.
- Maintenance: Performing preventative maintenance on batteries, electrical systems, and related components.
Responsibilities
- Experience: Previous experience as an automotive electrician, heavy equipment electrician, or similar role
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical circuits, wiring, and vehicle diagnostic equipment.
- Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work on vehicles, often involving lifting, bending, and working at heights.
