Job Description

The Electrical Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works. He/She ensures that all electrical activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, schedules, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead electrical technicians and electricians on-site
  • Plan, assign, and monitor daily electrical work activities
  • Ensure electrical installations comply with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications
  • Read and interpret electrical plans, drawings, and schematics
  • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other trades
  • Monitor work progress and ensure deadlines are met
  • Inspect completed work for quality and compliance
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues
  • Enforce safety procedures and toolbox meetings
  • Prepare daily reports, manpower and material requirements
  • Ensure proper use, maintenance, and safekeeping of tools and equipment

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Electrical Technology, Vocational Course, or related field
  • Licensed Electrician (advantage)
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in electrical works, with supervisory exposure
  • Knowledgeable in electrical codes and safety standards
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
