Job Description

Electrical & ECE Inspector / Engineer (Multi-Discipline)

Job Summary:


The Electrical & ECE Inspector/Engineer is responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and ensuring that all electrical and electronics/communications works are executed in compliance with approved plans, specifications, codes, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect electrical works including power distribution, lighting systems, panels, grounding, and auxiliary electrical systems.
  • Inspect ECE / low-current systems such as FDAS, CCTV, access control, structured cabling, data/telecom, and PA/BGM systems.
  • Verify compliance with approved shop drawings, material submittals, and project specifications.
  • Witness testing, commissioning, and integration of electrical and ELV systems.
  • Identify non-conforming works and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare inspection reports, punch lists, and QA/QC documentation.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other trades to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure works are executed in accordance with safety, quality, and client requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Communications Engineering
  • Licensed Electrical Engineer or Licensed ECE (advantage)
  • Experience in electrical and ELV / ICT systems
  • Knowledgeable in applicable electrical and communications codes and standards
  • Strong coordination, documentation, and site supervision skills
