Job Summary:

We are seeking a licensed Lead Electrical Design Engineer to oversee and guide the design and execution of electrical and electronics systems for our projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with electrical standards, coordinate with multiple trades, and mentor the engineering team to deliver high-quality design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Technical Leadership

1. Lead the preparation, review, and verification of electrical and electronics design drawings, ensuring compliance with Electrical and Electronics Code Standards.

2. Electrical Design Responsibilities:

• Lighting System Layout
• Power System Layout
• AC Power System Layout
• Load Schedules
• Power Riser Diagrams

3. Electronics Design Responsibilities:

• Auxiliary System Layouts, including Structured Cabling, Fire Detection & Alarm System (FDAS), and Security System Layouts.

4. Conduct calculations and simulations using software tools such as Dialux and Easypower (Short Circuit, Voltage Drop, Arc Flash, and Coordination Studies).

Project Coordination & Site Assessment

• Attend site meetings and assess conditions to ensure design feasibility.
• Coordinate with other trades for required interfacing and power supply integration.
• Monitor project updates, new projects, and employee assignments related to ongoing projects.

Team Leadership & Monitoring

• Guide and supervise engineering team members to ensure timely submissions, adherence to quality standards, and proper completion of daily tasks.
• Monitor team participation in meetings and progress on project deliverables.
• Generate and submit monthly reports on employee performance, project updates, and overall team output.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Electrical Engineer in the Philippines.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BS Electrical Engineering)
• Proven experience in electrical and electronics design, preferably in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
• Proficiency in Dialux, Easypower, and other relevant design software.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
