Duties and Responsibilities

1. Manage and oversee equipment operations, analyze malfunctions, and improve equipment reliability.
2. Participate in the testing and commissioning of new facilities, including turnaround and inspection activities.
3. Provide day-to-day technical support to Operations and Maintenance in troubleshooting and repairing rotating equipment and mechanical systems.
4. Prepare and review equipment specifications and supervise installation activities.
5. Update and maintain engineering documents, technical records, and drawings.
6. Coordinate with maintenance personnel during equipment installation, maintenance, and repair works.
7. Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce costs, improve performance, and ensure proper documentation, training, and equipment upgrades.
8. Provide recommendations for technical and economic optimization of existing facilities and equipment.
9. Manage equipment reliability by conducting investigations, root cause analysis, and preparing technical reports.
10. Lead continuous improvement initiatives for equipment operation and maintenance programs.
11. Ensure compliance with KPIs and service quality standards, including equipment uptime and timely maintenance.
12. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe and reliable operation of equipment and machinery.
