EDM Operator
Job Description
Description
Conducts activities relative to the machine operations of the EDM to produce product that consists of the following processes: Sinking by EDM, Cutting by EDM and Drilling by EDM. This also includes fabrication of precision toolings such as punch and dies, die set parts, mould parts and etc.
Requirements
EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT
- College (Graduate or Undergraduate of 4-year Mechanical Technology or Mechanical Engineering course)
- Graduate or Undergraduate of any Technical or Vocational course specializing in Machining
SKILLS REQUIREMENT
- Specializes in EDM Operations
- Ability to read and/or interpret Mechanical drawings is an advantage
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Underwent 6 mos. Apprenticeship/OJT
- Must have at least 2 years experience as EDM Operator or any related field
