Job Description
- Assist in proofreading, fact-checking and editing stories for main magazine and special titles such as but not limited to Travel (print and online).
- Co-manage editorial traffic and the revision process with the Senior Features Editor by synthesizing edits from the editors and ensuring compliance with the regional style guide before publication.
- Brainstorm editorial content ideas and co-manage the implementation of the editorial line-up for print and online.
- Write and produce stories for print and online. Coordinate, conduct and transcribe interviews as assigned. Attend and cover press events as assigned.
- Assist in final checking of advertorials and supplements before they go to print. Ensure that the clients’ requirements are met as well as the regional guidelines are followed.
- Liaise and coordinate with the Branded Content Editor and the respective departments concerned to resolve editorial or design issues, if any.
- Assist in the production of editorial shoots for print as assigned.
- Provide administrative and editorial assistance to the Editor-in-Chief as necessary.
