Day-to-Day Job Functions

• Transporting goods or passengers: Operating light or heavy vehicles safely following traffic laws and designated routes.
• Loading and unloading: Helping load items securely onto the vehicle and unloading them at the destination without causing damage.
• Vehicle maintenance checks: Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (checking oil, tire pressure, brakes, gas) and reporting needed repairs.
• Managing paperwork: Keeping clean records of delivery receipts, trip logs, fuel expenses, and signatures from recipients.
• Route planning: Choosing efficient routes to avoid heavy traffic and ensure on-time arrivals.
• Safety & compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols, road regulations, and securing cargo properly before driving.
