Driver for 6 Wheel Qualification and Job Responsibilities

To be a qualified driver for a 6-wheeler, one must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and have experience as a 6-wheeler truck driver. The job responsibilities include:

• Operating a 6-wheeler truck to transport goods to assigned destinations safely and efficiently.
• Performing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods as per schedule, adhering to customer requirements.
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle inspections.
• Complying with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Assisting with route planning and adjusting travel schedules to optimize delivery times.
• Reporting any vehicle issues, accidents, or violations immediately to the supervisor.
• Ensuring all required documentation (delivery receipts, inspection reports, etc.) is completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Maintaining a professional appearance and providing excellent customer service when interacting with clients or customers.
