- A truck driver's primary responsibility is to safely transport goods and materials from one location to another. Their duties include:
- Planning routes: Truck drivers plan routes to meet delivery deadlines.
- Loading and unloading: Truck drivers supervise or assist with loading and unloading goods.
- Truck maintenance: Truck drivers ensure their truck is well maintained and safe to drive.
- Following instructions: Truck drivers follow instructions and locate and read location and road maps.
- Pre-inspecting truck: Truck drivers pre-inspect their truck.
- Verifying loads: Truck drivers verify loads for accuracy.
- Following traffic laws: Truck drivers follow traffic laws and correctly route themselves.
- Ensuring enough gas: Truck drivers ensure that there is enough gas in the tank at all times for their destination.
- Willing to be assign 8TH AVE EAST GRACE PARK CALOOCAN CITY & Willing relocate this year to BALAGTAS BULACAN.
- Education: A high school diploma or GED, and preferably a certificate from a professional truck driving school
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL): A Class A, B, or C CDL
- Driving record: An incident-free driving record with no recent moving or driving violations
- Experience: Proven work experience as a truck driver, and experience with electronic equipment and software
- Physical fitness: The ability to lift and move heavy cargo
- Knowledge: Knowledge of truck and trailer maintenance, route planning, and federal and state laws
- Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Attitude: A commitment to safety, and a professional and customer-oriented attitude
- Flexibility: The ability to work long, irregular hours, and adapt to changing schedules
