Description
- Coordinate and schedule transportation routes for drivers.
- Communicate with drivers to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Monitor traffic and weather conditions to optimize dispatching.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and deliveries.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and tracking shipments.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, or a related field.
- Experience Level: 1–3 years of experience in dispatching or logistics.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in using dispatch software and GPS systems.
- Qualities and Traits: Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Working Conditions: May require evening or weekend work depending on operational needs.
