Description
- Coordinate and schedule transportation activities.
- Can work on graveyard shift 11pm to 7am Mondays to Saturdays
- Communicate with drivers and clients to ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor vehicle locations and optimize routes.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and transactions.
- Resolve issues and respond to emergencies as they arise.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Education degree not required, but relevant training is a plus.
- Experience Level: No experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Skills and Competencies: Ability to work flexible graveyard shifts, strong knowledge in supply chain management, effective planning and scheduling capabilities.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Coordinate and dispatch resources, manage schedules, and facilitate communication within the supply chain.
- Working Conditions: Primarily night shifts in an office or control room environment.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong communication skills.
