Description
- Coordinate and manage the routing of shipments for Roadwise Logistics Corporation in the transportation and logistics industry.
- Monitor driver schedules and communicate effectively to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities and truck availabilities.
- Handle emergency situations by re-routing drivers as necessary.
- Proactively communicate with customers to relay updates and resolve any transit issues.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Minimum Diploma degree required.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 Year of experience in dispatch or similar roles.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in Planning, Quality Management, and Strategic Planning.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Efficient routing of calls, liaising with different departments, coordinating transportation, managing communication, and maintaining logs.
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced environment with the expectation to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Qualities and Traits: Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
