Key Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and kitchen equipment by hand
• Ensure all items are properly sanitized and stored in designated areas
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, trash bins, and washing stations
• Assist in basic kitchen cleaning duties before, during, and after service
• Dispose of garbage and recycling according to health and safety regulations
• Restock cleaning supplies and inform supervisors when supplies are low
• Support kitchen staff with cleaning tasks as needed
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Maintain cleanliness of washrooms, ensuring proper sanitation and hygiene standards are consistently met.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or kitchen helper is an advantage but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
• Ability to lift heavy kitchen equipment when necessary
• Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene
• Team player with a positive attitude
