About the role

We are looking for a creative, proactive, and commercially minded Social Media & Digital Marketing Officer to support a growing UK property business. This role goes beyond simply scheduling social media posts. You'll take ownership of the company's Facebook and Instagram presence, creating relevant content, engaging with property-related communities, growing the audience, and identifying opportunities that can generate conversations and leads. The ideal candidate understands social media, can create original and engaging content, and has a good understanding of the UK property market and UK audience. You should be confident working independently, researching relevant topics, and turning property information into content that feels authentic and appropriate for the UK market. Experience with GoHighLevel and Facebook advertising is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the company's Facebook and Instagram accounts
• Create and publish regular content, including Reels/videos and static posts
• Create short-form videos, typically around 30–45 seconds, relevant to the property business
• Develop original content rather than relying solely on generic or AI-generated material
• Ensure content, imagery, language, and messaging are appropriate for the UK/Scottish property market
• Maintain a consistent and professional brand presence across social media
• Develop content ideas based on property trends, audience interests, and business objectives
• Regularly monitor relevant Facebook and Instagram groups and communities
• Identify conversations and posts where the company's services may be relevant
• Proactively engage with potential customers through appropriate comments and interactions

About you

• Previous experience in Social Media Management, Digital Marketing, Content Creation, Social Media Marketing, or a similar role
• Strong experience managing Facebook and Instagram
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong content creation and copywriting skills
• Ability to create engaging Reels, short-form videos, graphics, and static posts
• Good understanding of audience engagement and social media growth
• Confident communicating and engaging with different types of people online
• Strong understanding of the UK property market is highly desirable
• Experience with GoHighLevel is highly desirable
• Creative, proactive, and able to work independently
