We are seeking an AI Engineer for CargoWise One to lead and manage the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of system integrations between CargoWise and internal/external business platforms. This is a pivotal role suited to a technical product manager or product engineer with deep experience in CargoWise integration projects, particularly within logistics, freight forwarding, or customs brokerage environments.

The successful candidate will bridge the gap between business operations and technology—owning the integration roadmap, ensuring data integrity across systems, and driving automation and efficiency through smart, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead CargoWise integration initiatives from concept to delivery, including requirements gathering, solution design, development oversight, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, IT, product, finance, and third-party vendors) to define and prioritise integration requirements.
• Design and document data flow architectures, ensuring seamless integration between CargoWise and other platforms such as CRMs, ERP systems, client portals, and AI-driven tools.
• Manage APIs, EDI, and middleware integrations, including data mapping, validation, and transformation.
• Develop and maintain integration roadmaps, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term scalability.
• Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously enhance automation and system reliability.
• Translate business processes into system workflows and ensure best-practice configuration and optimisation within CargoWise.
• Provide expert guidance on CargoWise capabilities, licensing, and integration best practices to stakeholders.
• Liaise with external technology partners and WiseTech Global, managing technical support requests and release changes.
• Train and mentor internal teams on integration tools, processes, and system use

Skills and Experience

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in CargoWise One implementation or integration projects.
• Proven experience leading CargoWise API, EDI, or XML integration projects end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or logistics workflows.
• Technical fluency in data integration, automation, and system architecture (APIs, SQL, JSON, XML, middleware, etc.).
• Experience in project management or product ownership, preferably in a SaaS or logistics technology environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Desirable:

• Experience with integration platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps, or similar).
• Background in software engineering, computer science, or product management.
• Exposure to AI, analytics, or automation tools in logistics.
• CargoWise Certification (Certified Professional or Integration Specialist).
