Job Summary

An experienced piping designer supporting engineering and construction projects in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and drafting piping systems for upstream, midstream, or downstream facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or any related field
• Has at least 2 years of experience in pipe routing design, piping isometrics, piping layout/plan drawings, support selection, support fabrication drawings, and material take-off
• Proficient in 3D modelling software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D or AVEVA E3D
• Skilled in 2D AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Familiar with industry codes and standards (JIS, ASME, ANSI, API, etc.)
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Capable of independently organizing and prioritizing work assignments, coordinating various tasks, and maintaining attention to detail while managing conflicting priorities and deadlines
• Willing to participate in meetings, presentations, and technical discussions
• Adaptable to dynamic work environments and changing project requirements
