Design and Estimate – Technical Service Engineer

Job Summary:
Reviews tender and contract documents, executes the defined scope of work, and prepares detailed electrical and instrumentation engineering deliverables. Reviews and issues drawings and shop drawings and participates in design review and validation sessions to ensure that all design outputs comply with project requirements.
 
Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing and commissioning ofl products and control systems.
• Assist in supervising installation works at project sites.
• Support the preparation of general electrical and instrumentation engineering documents.
• Assist in developing conceptual and detailed designs and performing design control activities.
• Perform quality control and quality assurance checks on electrical engineering documents.
• Support project scheduling, planning and coordination activities.
• Coordinate design and engineering specifications with consultants and equipment suppliers.
• Carry out preliminary design work related to product architecture.
• Perform additional functions as required including calibration, maintenance, diagnostics, repair, restoration, and upgrade work.

 
Job Requirements:

• With a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Instrumentation and Control Engineering.
• Ability to interpret electro-mechanical drawings and other related technical documents.
• Computer literate: proficiency in AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Knowledge of HVAC and Control Systems.
