Responsible for forecasting and planning order requirements of the assigned sub-class or vendors based on the planogram matrix. Creates and monitors purchase orders, measures supplier service levels, manages inventory, and ensures complete stock availability.

Functions and Responsibilities:

Planning and Forecasting

• Plan and compute order requirements of all planogram items based on demand
• Manage forecasting and demand planning with merchandising, marketing services, and operations for upcoming promotions, business shifts, and seasonality affecting supply and demand
• Facilitate and drive weekly review of demand versus forecast and stock availability

New Product Pipeline

• Establish distribution and inventory targets per store level for new models

Direct to Store

• Ensure stock distribution and availability of products directly delivered by vendors to stores

Order Management

• Process purchase orders aligned with inventory policy
• Monitor created purchase orders and measure supplier service levels in terms of quantities served and delivery timeliness to the Distribution Center
• Manage capacity challenges and lead communication across Supply Chain and other concerned departments

Inventory Management

• Manage inventory levels to meet target expectations and customer service availability agreements
• Monitor aging stocks and obsolete inventory in the Distribution Center, and discuss action plans with the Merchandising team to improve days cover and achieve company goals
• Ensure stock availability of the assigned category in the Distribution Center

Vendor Management

• Communicate forecast and inventory estimations with suppliers
• Discuss planned/campaign product promotions to produce more accurate forecasts

• Must be a BS Industrial Engineering or BS Mathematics graduate.
• With minimal experience in supply chain, logistics, and forecasting.
