Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain, merchandising, or sales analytics.\
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, demand trends, and inventory metrics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (forecasting models, data analysis,reporting)
  • Experience or exposure to e-commerce demand patterns, promotions, and seasonality is an advantage.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Proficient in MS Office

Responsibilities

  • Forecasting: Developing accurate demand forecasts based on historical sales, market trends, and promotional activities.
  • Inventory Optimization: Managing inventory flow to balance customer service levels against holding costs.
  • Collaboration: Working with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to reach a consensus on demand plans.
  • Data Analysis: Using statistical tools and software to analyze data, evaluate KPIs, and monitor forecast errors.
  • Risk Management: Identifying and managing supply chain risks such as shortages or inventory overflow.
  • Reporting: Regularly reporting to management on forecast performance and market trends.
