Product Delivery:

• Safely and efficiently deliver products to customers, following assigned delivery routes and schedules.
• Ensure products are delivered in good condition and on time, meeting customer expectations for quality and service.
• Verify delivery addresses and ensure all packages are correctly loaded and unloaded.

Customer Service:

• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner when making deliveries.
• Handle any customer inquiries or concerns regarding deliveries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure a positive customer experience, building trust and fostering good relationships.

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety:

• Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle daily to ensure it is in safe working condition.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance issues to the supervisor in a timely manner.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations, ensuring the safe transport of goods.
• Keep the vehicle clean and organized.

Delivery Documentation:

• Complete and maintain accurate delivery logs, including delivery times, customer signatures, and other required documentation.
• Collect payments (if applicable), process receipts, and handle cash transactions following company procedures.
• Communicate delivery updates or issues with the logistics team or supervisor as needed.

Route Optimization:

• Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
• Monitor traffic, weather, and other conditions to adjust delivery routes and avoid delays.

Inventory & Product Handling:

• Assist in loading and unloading products at the start and end of each delivery.
• Ensure products are handled with care to prevent damage during transport.
• Perform basic inventory checks and assist in organizing goods in the delivery area.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth coordination of deliveries.
• Collaborate with other drivers and staff to meet company targets and improve delivery efficiency.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

• Prior experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Experience driving a delivery vehicle (e.g., van, box truck, etc.) is a plus.

Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local roads, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling deliveries, payments, and receipts.
