Description
- Transport and deliver goods to clients promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
- Ensure vehicle is clean, maintained, and in good condition.
- Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle queries.
- Assist with loading and unloading items.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient route planning.
Requirements
- Job Title: Delivery Driver
- Educational Qualifications: Minimum High/Senior High School degree required
- Experience Level: Entry-level; less than 1 year of driving experience preferred
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in road transportation, holding a valid driver's license, strong driving skills, knowledgeable in vehicle maintenance
- Responsibilities and Duties: Safely transporting goods to and from specified locations, maintaining delivery schedules, and ensuring vehicle upkeep
- Working Conditions: Variable hours including weekends and holidays, potential for inclement weather, and extensive time driving
- Qualities and Traits: Responsible, reliable, attentive to detail, capable of heavy lifting, and possessing excellent time management
