Job Description

BARCODER

• At least a High School graduate

• With experience in barcoding is a plus

• With a Certificate of Employment

• Willing to work extended hours

• Willing to work in a production-type environment

• Responsible and can work in a fast-paced environment

• Punctuality and reliability are very important

• Physical fitness is required as this job will require some manual lifting


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follows the Rules and Regulations of the Company and the Standard Operating Procedures of the Warehouse Division and reports any untoward incidents that happen inside the warehouse

• Responsible for elevating items properly using elevated pallets or five plastic pallets if elevated pallets are not available

• Responsible for attaching the barcode sticker correctly to the items for concession and outright customers and other items that require barcode and/or labels

• Responsible for attaching ICC stickers to the items that are required for ICC

• Assures that labels and barcodes of items are correct

Check label details such as those listed below upon requisition from the Barcoding Staff and before placing the label on the item:

• Stock Transfer Receipt (STR) Number

• Date

• Company Name

• Brand

• Branch

• Carton Number/Box Number

• Responsible for housekeeping in their working area

• Perform other tasks as instructed by the superior

Open Hours: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
