Job Summary:

The Data Governance Analyst (Officer) is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving the company's data governance practices. He/She ensures that company data is accurate, secure, compliant, and consistently defined across systems and business units. He/She supports the development and enforcement of data policies, data quality standards, metadata documentation, and governance processes.


Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain data governance policies, standards, and procedures

• Monitor and improve data quality (accuracy, completeness, timeliness) across business datasets

• Maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and lineage for key data domains

• Coordinate with business units on data issues and resolutions

• Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and improve governance efficiency

• Manage and monitor data access across the organization

• Support in managing the data warehouse

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or any related course.

• At least 2-3 years of experience in a related role.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
