Privacy Technology Analyst

Non-Negotiable Skills:

• Must have at least 4 years of experience in the Information Technology and/or other related industry.

• Should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to read and understand software code is a must. Prior work as a software developer is a plus.

• Basic understanding of a regulatory environment / data privacy regulations is a plus (SOX/PCI/HIPAA/PII).

• Privacy certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPT, or CIPM are a plus.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultative skills.

• Able to work independently with limited supervision.

Job Description:

• Work with legal and IT to integrate privacy requirements into existing and new technology systems.

• Review technical systems to validate the effective operation of controls implemented in response to privacy requirements.

• Evaluate privacy impact assessments and data protection impact assessments for new and existing technologies to contemplate new privacy-by-design solutions to future-proof our organization.

• Support internal privacy operational processes, regularly identifying and implementing methods to drive efficiencies.

• Prepare documentation, including processes and procedures surrounding privacy operations and overall due diligence to ensure that current state practices and documentation are in sync.
