Cyber Security Engineer

Job Description
- Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, intrusions, and anomalies.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks.
- Manage, configure, and monitor security tools, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches, including documentation and post-incident analysis.
- Assist in the design and implementation of security architecture, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments for new and existing systems, applications, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training programs to staff.
- Stay updated with the latest cyber threat intelligence, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and external partners on security best practices and incident handling.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning from a cybersecurity perspective.
