Job Description

Importation  Coordination

Must be familiar with shipping documents like Invoice, Packing list, Bill of lading, Form D & E, Form JP, Form A1.

Check the accuracy of shipping documents

Secure insurance for import shipments.

Send documents to the customs broker for the computation of duties and taxes.

Check the accuracy of the computation of duties and taxes, and ensure that tariff codes and tariff rates are correct.

Provide additional or necessary documents needed by the customs broker for the processing of shipments.

Coordinate with the bank regarding payment of duties and taxes.

Coordinate with the customs broker to facilitate shipment processing, customs clearance, release, and delivery.

Coordinate with the warehouse personnel regarding the delivery of shipments.

Keep and maintain an accurate record of all importations.

Responsible for checking the accuracy of billings made by the forwarder.


Reportorial

Order fulfillment and status of the shipment.


Personal Development    

Attend training and development programs organized/sponsored by ATC or principal supplier. 

Undertakes self-improvement initiatives to promote continuing professional growth and personal development.     

Ensures new competencies are developed and/or existing competencies are enhanced.
