What you'll be doing

1. Overseeing the clearance of goods through customs, including the preparation and submission of all necessary documentation
2. Acting as the direct point of contact between clients and customs authorities to facilitate import and export processes
3. Staying up-to-date with the latest customs regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements to ensure compliance
4. Providing expert guidance and advice to clients on customs-related matters
5. Liaising with shipping, transportation, and logistics providers to coordinate the timely delivery of goods
6. Maintaining detailed records and generating reports on customs activities
7. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient customs clearance strategies

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor’s degree in Customs Administration with valid LCB certification.
2. At least 5 years of experience working as a Custom Broker, preferably within the logistics industry
3. Excellent knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and documentation requirements
4. Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with clients, customs authorities, and other stakeholders
5. Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to handle complex customs-related issues
6. Proficient in using relevant customs clearance software and technology
7. A proven track record of delivering high-quality, efficient customs clearance services
