Description

A healthcare customer service representative (CSR) provides customer service for medical providers and health care companies. They work in call centers, offices, and other settings, and may perform administrative duties. 

Responsibilities

  • Answer calls: Respond to calls from customers, including current, past, and potential customers 
  • Resolve issues: Help customers with questions, complaints, and insurance claims 
  • Provide information: Educate customers about benefits, plans, and medical care 
  • Direct customers: Help customers find the right resources for their needs 
  • Schedule appointments: Set appointments for patients and direct them to the correct departments 
  • Complete paperwork: Enter patient registration data, review documents for billing, and maintain referral files 
  • Make calls: Contact clients to assess their service experience or inform them of changes 

Skills

  • Customer service: Provide excellent customer service and be a positive contact point 
  • Communication: Be able to clearly explain benefits and plan options 
  • Problem-solving: Be able to identify and assess customer needs and resolve issues 
  • Organization: Be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously 
  • Attention to detail: Be able to review documents to ensure they have the proper information 
  • Work environment 
  • Healthcare customer service representatives may work for hospitals, health care companies, insurance companies, and nursing homes

Qualifications:

•College Graduate with 6months international pure voice account experience

•Completed 2 years in college with 6months international pure voice account experience

• SHS Graduate with 1 year solid pure voice account BPO experience

• High School graduate (Old curriculum) with 2 years solid pure voice account BPO
