Description

Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative with a strong background in the travel industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and 1 year of experience in a Customer Care Environment (CCE). This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong ability to handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide top-tier service.

Requirements

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues through various channels (phone, email, chat).
  • Utilize GDS to book, modify, and manage travel-related services, including flights, accommodations, and car rentals.
  • Provide expert guidance and information on travel products, policies, and services.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with customers and ensure satisfaction throughout their experience.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns and offer solutions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address customer needs and improve service processes.
  • Document customer interactions accurately and maintain detailed records of services provided.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Customer Care Environment (CCE).
  • with or without experience is welcome to apply!
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage professionally with customers.
  • WOSA (Workplace Orientation and Support Assistance) experience is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet.

  • Proficiency in using GDS for booking and managing travel.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
