Creative Designer – Furniture Customization

Job Summary:

Responsible for developing creative and functional furniture designs based on client requirements, company concepts, and project specifications. The role involves creating design concepts, preparing drawings and presentations, coordinating with production teams, and ensuring that the final furniture products meet design, quality, and functionality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative and customized furniture designs based on client requirements.
• Create sketches, 2D/3D drawings, renderings, and design presentations.
• Collaborate with clients, sales teams, production, and project teams.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, colors, and furniture details.
• Modify designs based on client feedback and production requirements.
• Prepare accurate measurements, specifications, and technical details.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure designs are properly executed.
• Conduct site visits and measurements when required.
• Ensure designs are aesthetically appealing, functional, durable, and cost-effective.
• Stay updated on current furniture, interior, and design trends.
• Assist in preparing quotations and material specifications when needed.
• Perform other design-related tasks assigned by management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or related field.
• Experience in custom furniture design or furniture manufacturing is an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D rendering software, or similar design tools.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to interpret client requirements.
• Knowledge of furniture materials, construction, and manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
