Fishing Technician
Description
- Assist in development and implementation of aquatic life conservation strategies at construction sites.
- Manage and maintain fishing equipment and gear for Tempwell Company's environmental sustainability projects.
- Monitor fish habitats and conduct stock assessments in surrounding water bodies impacted by engineering works.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate fishing industry best practices into Tempwell's operational procedures.
- Provide expert advice on fishery management and aquatic resource protection to support eco-friendly engineering solutions.
Requirement
- Educational Qualifications: Formal education not mandatory, but relevant certifications or training are an advantage.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of hands-on experience in fishing or related fields.
- Skills and Competencies: Deep knowledge of fish species, habitats, and seasonal behaviors. Proficiency in using fishing gear and navigation tools. Basic mechanical skills to maintain and repair fishing equipment.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Operating fishing equipment, maintaining gear, recording catch data, supporting the crew in navigation and safety procedures, and ensuring compliance with fishing regulations.
- Working Conditions: Extended periods at sea, variable weather conditions, physically demanding tasks, and shift work.
- Qualities and Traits: Physical fitness, attention to detail, team player, resilience, and a passion for marine life.
